Introduction to the Instructor Workbook (IWB) Module*

The Instructor Workbook is a brand-new module within QTD and brings a higher level of transparency and standardization to training material development and delivery. All work completed flows back into QTD 2.0 to show in course details, specifications, and compliance reports. Administrators can approve or reject a phase and provide feedback to the instructors directly in the workbook.

This training course focuses on the Why of the Instructor Workbook, by allowing the training class participants to explore the Analysis phase and how it provides the foundation needed to determine if training is required a given topic. Participants will also learn about the Design, Development, and Implementation phases of the workbook and how those phases interact with the QTD software. Finally, participants will learn about and become familiar with the four evaluation levels and how to enter results for each level.

QTS always thinks about the end user. Their knowledge, courses, guides, videos and most of all the QTS program is excellent and focuses on what the industry and trainers need. I also appreciate how they allow us to have access to the PPTs and videos so we can go back and review when needed.

I liked being able to participate live, but online. I thought this was a great opportunity.

Manager, Dispatch

I’ve really enjoyed this training so far. The exercises are very helpful. I wasn’t sure how I’d like virtual training, but it’s been very engaging. Time flies by!

Training Development Program Manager

My favorite part of the virtual workshop was the interactive learning – I definitely learn better when I get the chance to practice using the software and get real-time feedback.

System Operations Trainer

It’s nice to have this option to save on O&M expenses for training costs.
