49 CFR 243 Railway Safety Training

49 CFR Part 243 establishes regulations that require railroads to develop and submit to the FRA for approval training programs for safety-related employees. Once the programs are approved, the railroads must implement them (thereby training the employees to the measurable standards contained in the program), maintain records, and conduct annual reviews to ensure adequacy of the training and continuous improvement.
